On the 33th episode of "Innovate & Educate, Creative Bulletin News", we will learn about how a young and dynamic Math Teacher never loses his motivation and teaching passion.

Cristian Sánchez Moraga is a Secondary Math Teacher and a Soccer Referee who shares in a very honest way, those daily challenges that he usually confronts in his teaching practice.

Committed to his subject, but most importantlty, to his students, Cristian is fully convinced that, by learning mathematics, these adolescents can arm themselves to face the obstacles that await them in their future adulthood.

Problem solving and critical thinking can be trained in a practical and tangible way. Grounding the abstraction facilitates the pathway to those students that have created a wrong misconception about their lack of skills when learning mathematics.

Cristian is fully convinced that, the education system should respect teacher´s rythms and timing in order to enhance magnificent opportunitities for more creative and fulfilling designed teaching-learning activities.

His career as a soccer referee has taught him not just about sports, but about life. Following rules, establishing clear boundaries, and being an authority reference during a match are basic skills that can be transferred to the classroom.

During these years of teaching and the encounters and testimonies of his colleagues have taken him to collect all this knowledge in a book that he is assembling.

His inner spark is reflected in the way he speaks, feels and acts.

I hope that you enjoy this conversation as much as I did!!!!
